HICKS HAY & GRAIN
The Stock Feed Specialists
QUALITY PRODUCTS & TRADITIONAL VALUES
At Hicks, we make it our mission to provide high quality stock feed, excellent value for money and old fashioned service. Many of our customers have been with us for decades. We cater to both retailers and the public, providing various grades of hay, bulk single grains, time saving mixes, packaged pellets and products to help care for your animals. We are here to help, whether it's advice based on our personal experience, or simply a hand loading your truck. Just shout if you need us.
ALL GRADES OF HAY
Hicks offer a wide variety of hay grades including varieties grown right here on our farm, as well as top feed sourced from around Australia. We make sure the bales are good and heavy with quality ingredients. Depending on availability, they can contain lucerne, red clover, rye, oaten, wheaten, vetch and barley. Sizes range from small and manageable to large, dry export grade. We invest a lot of time and care in our homegrown hay, to help ensure high grade nutrients and enzymes. This includes soil testing and enrichment with top grade European fertilisers, avoiding chemicals wherever possible, working with our local atmospheric conditions and using modern production processes.
WHOLE, CRACKED & ROLLED GRAINS
We have your grains covered, whether you need a few bags or a few tonnes. Whole grains of corn, oats, barley, sorghum, wheat and lupins, as well as cracked corn and rolled barley and lupins. We know fresh is best, so we roll every couple of days. With Hicks, what you see is what you get. That means top quality grains, identifiable in the mixes. Whether you need feed for chickens, pigs, cattle or horses, our extensive experience has enabled us to develop ideal mixes, designed to keep your stock healthy, active and breeding well.
Keeping your animals healthy and active is critical, and of course it never hurts to save time. That's why we have a number of high quality animal care products on hand. While you're getting feed, you can also grab packaged dog food, horse wormers, omega 3+6 or flaxseed oil, coat conditioning supplements, salve and antiseptic cream from brands such as Pauls, Rawleighs, Livamol, Ranvet, Country Park and Tuff Rock.
It's a win-win situation, whereby we get to support local businesses at the same time as making excellent produce easily available at the farm. Next time your in, feel free to pick up some local honey, eggs from rescue hens or native plants that support Australian wildlife.

ABOUT HICKS HAY & GRAIN
Four Generations of Farmers
The Hicks family have been farming for four generations, having established the farm at Woodville in 1919. Originally dairy farmers, we began to focus on stock feed around 1973, cracking corn and cut chaff we grew grew ourselves. Through this long history of working with stock and the land and getting to know environmental conditions, we have developed a wealth of knowledge around growing and providing excellent feed. In future, we will continue to research sourcing the best available raw materials and improving production processes, in order to optimise our product.
